How can I enter?
Click on the categories tab and select the category you wish to enter.
Entries must be submitted by 16th JANUARY 2009
The process is simple this year, select the category you wish to enter, complete the entry form and 500-1000 word supporting statement and submit your entry. No attachments required and you just need to follow the statement for each category to comply with the judges' requirements.

Can I nominate someone else?
Yes you can. Simply select the category you wish to nominate them for, enter their details, as well as your own and submit the nomination.
When will I know whether my company has been shortlisted?
The full shortlist will be published on this website and in Optician Journal in early February.You will also receive confirmation by email at this time. The shortlisted entries will be invited to supply supporting documentation and examples if they wish.
When will I find out if my company has won?
The announcement of the winners will be made at the Optician Awards on Saturday, April 4th 2009 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull
What are the timings for the evening?
7.30pm Drinks Reception
8.15pm Dinner
10.00pm Awards commence
10.45pm Maui Jim party and casino

When will I receive my invitations?
Your invitations will be sent to you 2-3 weeks before the awards for you to send to your confirmed guests.
What is the dress code for the evening?
The dress code for the evening will be 'Black Tie' and cocktail / evening dresses.
Who do I notify if one of my guests has special dietary requirements?
A form will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed. This form must be returned at least 48 hours prior to the event, otherwise charges will apply.
How do I order drinks for my table?
Your booking fee includes half a bottle of wine and water per guest. However, if you would like to order additional drinks in advance a form will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed. You can also order additional drinks on the night via your wine waiter. However you will be asked to settle the bill by credit card/cash on the night for these additional drinks.
How do I buy tickets for the dinner?
Simply book online by clicking on the Table Booking menu button and submit your details.
